What she already knows though is that this dominant Warrior awakens a stirring and powerful thing inside her, and calls to a secret part of herself she has kept hidden for too long.
Jace knows who Raina is but doesn’t want to tell her that he is her betrothed. She’s not happy with the arranged marriage and is attempting to run from it. When he catches her entering the forest alone, with no way to protect herself, he feels obligated to offer assistance, whether she wants it or not.
