We Need a Little Christmas by Katherine Deane

Thirty-three-year-old, Ivy Henry seems to have it all. A well-paying job, a new house, and her wonderful HOH/husband, Jack. At her request, they had incorporated Domestic Discipline into their marriage a few years ago and she flourished under his love, guidance, and support.

But, this year’s holiday season is wrecking havoc on their calm relationship. Between the stress of work and hosting this year’s Christmas Eve party for all the family, Ivy is becoming more and more out of control. To top it off, she has a secret she can’t share with Jack.

Their relationship is wonderful but she wants more—a chance to explore her younger side. Ivy desires to do Age Play but is fighting her needs because it is embarrassing. How can she trust Jack not to laugh when she tells him she wants to curl up on his lap at night and call him Daddy?

Jack has been watching Ivy slip away emotionally for the past year. His beautiful, sweet wife is now always angry and ill tempered. DD just doesn’t seem to be cutting it any longer. He can tell she is unhappy, but doesn’t know how to help her until the day he finds her chat sessions on her computer. Discovering hope again, he begins to make plans to escape from this stressful holiday. He will introduce his precious Ivy to her new daddy—him. They both need to reconnect and they both need a Little Christmas.

A Little Sugar, A Little Spice by Abbie Adams

Christmas is a time of magic and anticipation. Meri is far less concerned about what might be under her tree than she is about who is showing up on her doorstep. Though she adores her sister, Kim, even she has to admit that the woman tends to be the ‘naughty’ to Meri’s ‘nice’. Her husband, Sean, has already warned his little girl that he won’t hesitate to turn her over his knee if she doesn’t remember that their household has definite rules that are not to be broken. If she wishes to test her Daddy’s resolve, instead of visions of sugarplums dancing in her head, his naughty little one will be dancing to the tune of a thick wooden spoon.

It doesn’t take but two days before Kim has once again shown her true colors. Despite Meri’s willingness to excuse her behavior, she finally admits that Kim’s life would be so much better if someone cared for her the way her own Daddy did. Perhaps if Kim had her own bottom reddened, she would learn the error of her ways but would Meri ever have the courage to reveal the dynamics of her life to her sister.

When Sean invites Kim’s boyfriend to dinner, the young woman is shocked-especially since she’d told Meri that they had broken up. She knows she isn’t happy with her life but is worried what her sister might think if she learns what Kim really desires. Kyle is far less hesitant in reminding the stubborn woman he adores exactly who is in charge. Will the two sisters take the chance to unwrap the secrets they’ve both held onto for so long? Will they discover that loving men who appreciate both a little sugar and a little spice fulfills them in all ways and is the best Christmas present they could ever receive?

We Need a Little Christmas by Katherine Deane
A sweet story of a successful but stressed-out attorney, Ivy Henry, who has fantasies about being a little and having a Daddy. When she can’t find an address to an appointment, she calls her husband, Jack, to find it in her computer. Going to her history to retrieve it, he finds so much more. Already in a domestic discipline relationship, Jack decides to step it up to make his sweet girl’s fantasy a reality. The plot is short and sweet with open and honest dialog and an HEA ending.

A Little Sugar, A Little Spice by Abbie Adams
This is a story that covers two sisters, each in their own relationship. Meri is in a relationship with her Daddy-husband, Sean. But she has not shared this with her sister, Kim. Kim leaves her relationship with Kyle but leaves out important information. Several meltdowns, hurt feelings, and confusion, and one drunken night will bring it all to a head for Kim. Can Sean and Meri help Kim and Kyle? Will the two sisters feel comfortable enough to be honest and reveal their relationships? The plot focuses on safe, sane and consensual and how a Dom has his girls best interest at heart.

Ivy has a high pressure job and she loves coming home to her loving husband Jack. She is a conflicted, confused grown woman who is becoming more dissatisfied with her and Jacks D/D relationship. She wants to become Jacks little girl and have him be her daddy. A sweet, Christmas age play story.

Both stories were well written. The first novella centered more on ageplay, while the second had both ageplay and BDSM. I thought the first story was very sweet. Jack accidentally finds out about Ivy’s desires and it was awesome to see how his acceptance helped to fulfill her. In the second novella I enjoyed reading about the sweet and loving established relationship between Sean and Meri, and how the two of them helped Meri’s sister, Kim, find happiness in her own life.

She wants to have a Daddy. I enjoyed this story. The relationship between the two of them was beautiful. In A Little Sugar, A Little Spice, Meri and Sean have a Daddy/little girl relationship. Meri??s sister, Kim comes to stay with them after leaving her boyfriend, Kyle. There are problems and Kyle comes to see them. We learn they have a D/d relationship as well. I liked this story a lot. I give this book 4 stars.

This is two cute holiday age-play stories. Both are fun and each has it’s own flavor. Each is also full of hope.

    1. We Need a Little Christmas by Katherine Deane – This is Ivy and Jack’s story. Ivy has been keeping a need from Jack and when he discovers it does his research. Together they begin to discover and explore this new dynamic that allows for Ivy to let go of workplace stress.

    2. A Little Sugar, A Little Spice by Abbie Adams – This is the story of Meri and Sean. Meri is dealing with her sister Kim who seems to be different from one another. Meri seems bent on disrupting their lives but Kyle might have just the solution for the problem and maybe the sister aren’t quite as different as they think.

    Jack Knows

Disclaimer: I was forwarded a copy of this one for my honest evaluation; so here it is:
Ivy and Jack are both intelligent, warm, loving, and caring people and I enjoyed getting to know them and peek into their lives. Katherine Deane does an excellent job of setting the scene while providing the charters depth and feelings. It does feel like these are real people and we got a glimpse behind the fa?ade that they hold up for everyone else.
This book is a stand-alone book. The author did an excellent job of slipping in the necessary details needed to understand the characters?? motivations; and it had a finish, so the reader is not left hanging (Thank you Katherine!).
The book has an age play theme and some anal play. If you enjoy or are curious about those subjects you will like this book. The age play is again portrayed from a more real perspective; no diapers or baby talk. It is more about feeling like a protected child.
I enjoyed the book and will find and read other books by this author.
