  1. Redrabbitt

I enjoyed this addition to The Brightwell Sisters series, with this second book focusing on the middle daughter of Professor Henry Brightwell, Rhiannon Brightwell. She has decided that she will become an old maid because no men have come to court her. Reluctantly going to a “sex” party with her best friend Melissa brings her to a new experience of the carnal nature. She is only an observer until she is taken in hand by a man who she assumes is Lord Rath, but he is with Melissa, or is he? No one had told her that Rath had an identical twin brother, Lord Branch. What starts as dislike, becomes an infatuation and then a passion. They play a game of sexual cat and mouse, and he becomes her teacher in the delights of carnal desires. The plot takes them on a journey into forbidden and erotic passion and pleasure as Branch slowly introduces Rhiannon to new experiences.

  3. Laurel Loughman

This was an interesting story of a young woman, Rhiannon, who is dragged to a sex party by her best friend. Her curiosity gets the better of her and she quickly goes for observer to participator. She meets Lord Branch, whom she quickly falls for. He introduces her to passion and discipline. It is a forbidden adventure full of excitement.

The second book in the Brightwell Sisters series is light and fun to read, like the first one. Set in Victorian England, Rhiannon is a lovely girl who gets quite an education when her friend asks her to accompany her to a sex club so that the friend can meet with a lover. Rhiannon meets the twin brother of her friend’s lover, Lord Branch, and he starts her on a voyage of discovery about sex, spanking and love. The story is short and fast paced, and the characters are likable.

  7. Toni L

Just like the first book in this series I really enjoyed this. Again, the main character is delightfully innocent but not childlike. I find the intelligence & thoughtfulness of the characters unfortunately unusual in an historical setting where I find the females almost exclusively seem to be portrayed as too childlike or \’empty\’.
