Oh how I adored this beautifully written tale of the Bennet family after \’Pride and Prejudice\’ ended.
Mr. Bennet has resolved to become a stricter head of his household and he now spanks his womenfolk when they deserve correcting. This is a little gem of a book and I highly, highly recommend it to those who love Jane Austen\’s novels as much as I do! A very well deserved 10 stars!

Being a fan of all things Austen I jumped at the chance to read this while at the same time shaking in fear. I have read too many bad re-workings or re-imaginings to have faith that this was going to be a complete success. I am very pleased that I took the chance. The tone & language of the writing was in style & it was easy to imagine all my fovourite characters as they were in this book.

  5. Redrabbitt

I found this to be a different spin on Jane Austin’s Pride and Prejudice story with the author taking a new literary twist including the practice of domestic discipline. For true P&P lovers, they will find this outrageous but in reality, domestic discipline and corporal punishment have been common practices, whether written or not. The plot is a new spin on this classic, or “the rest of the story” not originally told.

Loved the originality behind this story! \”Pride and Prejudice\” with some domestic discipline mixed in. Well written, lots of spanking scenes that were gentle, and delightful characters. Beautifully told!
