I laughed so many times while reading this book! Mary Holmes was a hoot and certainly not the typical woman in Victorian times. Dr. Watson certainly had his hands full trying to keep her safe but he was more than up to the challenge! Great adventure!

    Good bedtime reading

This is a great alternative book loosely based on the Sherlock Holmes and Dr Watson mysteries. Mary Holmes is an independent young woman of good family in the Victorian era using her skills to solve crimes including those of her arch-nemesis Moira Moriarty an equally intelligent and cunning individual. Dr Watson deems it his duty to curb such wild behaviour in women and sets about a disciplinary programme of reform. A fast-paced story of inventiveness and good fun to read which includes spankings through to steam-punk-like machinery of erotica.

I loved this take on the classic Sherlock Holmes! Sherlock did get changed to Mary but is still just as focused on solving the case-come what may. When Dr. John Watson is called to care for her cough, he takes charge of her safety. He uses unconventional methods to acquire obedience. Mary is more than up for the challenge-and continues to solve the case, without regard for the state of her behind.

The absolute best I’ve ever read, except the ending was way over the top, I’d say. But the wording, and the excitement, and the quirkiness and sarcasim were just the way Holmes and Watson would be, if Holmes was a woman. Superbly written. Loved it. Crazy hot, but sweet.

Just a wonderful story. It’s an ingenious twist on an age old story, we all know where it is going to end up but the trip is the best part. Mary and Dr. Watson are both such engaging characters, with a wonderful touch of humor.

What a great, fun, erotic read. Yet another twist on the classic Holmes/Watson story line, but one that is sure to appeal to the readers. This time Holmes is a young impressionable female, who comes under the strict guidance of the good Dr. Watson. Even the arch enemy, Moira Moriarty, succumbs to the dominant discipline of Dr. Watson. I can??t say enough good things about this book, and wholeheartedly give it a full five star rating. Don??t delay, purchase your copy today and enjoy the adventure. Looking forward to the next installment of what is sure to become a series of entertaining books.

The one thing Mary Holmes likes more than a good mystery is a bare-bottom spanking from the good doctor. If you love Sherlock Holmes Mysteries, you will enjoy reading this book as it is set in the same time period, complete with witty dialogue. The addition of great spanking scenes and intense anal play makes this an excellent read. Enjoy!

I’m a big fan of the original Sherlock Holmes and when I saw this book by one of my favorite authors I couldn’t wait to read it. I was not disappointed; in fact this book was more than I could have hoped for. I love what Loki Renard did with the characters, keeping them true enough to their original counterparts but creating a sexual d/s relationship between a more dominant Watson and the female Holmes. The plot was clever and unpredictable and the suspense was sustained until the end. What put this excellently-written book over the top, however, was the humor, which had me laughing out loud from the beginning. I could not have enjoyed a book more. I can only hope that Loki will write a sequel.

This was quite a story! Mary Holmes is a self appointed detective and Doctor John Watson is the doctor who has decided she needs protecting – from herself as well as others. This was fast pace engaging story that kept you wondering what was going to happen next and had a great deal of humor! There were a lot of spanking and some very erotic sex scenes. I enjoyed this book and gave it 5 stars.

The Good Doctor by Loki Renard is a wonderfully light and funny story. The interaction between Mary and Dr. Watson kept me laughing right from the beginning to the end. While the mysteries, kept me guessing and interested I also liked that the ending was a surprise I did not see coming. For anyone who wants to enjoy a great story with sex, spanking, mysteries ,and a lot of fun reading it I suggest you get this book and begin the adventure. Way to go!

This story kept me captivated with the spin-off of Homes, Watson, and Moriarty in this crime laden mystery, suspense story. The plot twists kept the pages turning with Mary Holmes, a spunky, eccentric woman who has a keen eye for deducing situations and helping solve crimes, but she also has a reckless regard for safety and propriety. Dr. John Watson has had himself appointed her guardian and dishes out punishment after punishment but she is a masochist and it doesn??t seem to have the desired effect to cure her of her misdeeds. Throw in her nemesis; Moria Moriarty whose masochism makes Mary??s seem tame. All in all, it is a fun story with several twists and turns, lots of spankings and explicit sex scenes.

Read this book in exchange for an honest review
Really enjoyed the take on Holmes and Watsons relationship it was erotic with wit and plenty of inventive ways to spank with the usual detective story you would expect from a more traditional Sherlock Holmes book. Really enjoyed reading this hopefully it could be the first of a series?
