  1. Laurel Lasky

This amazing book was a cross between Don Quixote and Sancho Panza. The carefree English Lord is bored and want a quest and to save a damsel in distress and the damsel needs a knight in shining armor. The witty dialogue is laugh out loud funny and so heartbreaking sad it brought me to tears. There is explicit sex, many spankings, rotten bad guys, violence, mystery, suspense, an evil Bishop and a fast paced page turner with unexpected twists and turns. I highly recommend this book.

This latest installment in one of my all-time favorite series is as strong as all the other stories. As with all her other books, Lee Savino crafts richly-developed characters alongside a plausible plot line that pulls you in as a reader.

In this book, we learn more about the friend, Lord Sebastian Chivington, who has appeared in glimpses in previous books. Sebastian yearns for an adventure and when one appears before him -in the form of Francesca- he is quick to seize the opportunity. Despite their unusual introduction to one another, sparks fly and romance blossoms. Sebastian is willing to work on the farm during the day only to become Francesca\’s much-needed (and desired) Master at night. Along the way, the couple has many obstacles to overcome – some self-imposed and some very real dangers. Like all the other installments, this book is full of hotness. The discipline scenes will make you clench, and the sexy scenes will make you pant.

Ride is the seventh book in this series and can be read by itself. But why would you? Read the whole series, and be prepared to change your panties often.

This story is full of action, danger, suspense and romance with Sebestian teasing Francesca mercilessly throughout adding humour to it and the action between them is hot. I also like that we get to know what both Sebestian and Francesca are thinking and feeling throughout.

  7. Redrabbitt

The plot takes us on a journey of Francesca, who has been controlled by men her entire life, her father picking his friend, an older man, to become her husband, under the hand of her husband and now dealing with a brother-in-law who thinks he can control her. Enter into the picture one English Lord, who birches her and then comes to her home and continues to dictate how things need to be for her safety. For Sebastian, he has wandered like a fish out of water, with no real purpose in life, but Francesca brings out a passion, a desire to protect and to dominate. For the first time in his life, he is working with his hands and sweat of his brow helping out on her farm. The more he is with her, the more he wants her. Can the English Lord and the Spanish Rose find happiness? Who is after her family farm? Who killed her husband and why? “There is a price you will pay. Submission, total and absolute, to me.” “With me, you can let go, and find release. It maintains balance.” There is a great cast of characters, mostly new people, but we will see some old friends.

This is an absolutely fantastic book! I loved everything about it. The suspense, danger and betrayal added some intrigue to a delightful, steamy romance. My favorite part of the whole book, though, was the end. No spoilers here, read and enjoy it for yourself!

A very full, very interesting story. Can be read as a standalone or part of the Rocky Mountain series. Well written, with great characters and sexy scenes. There is some disciplinary spankings and lots and lots of love. It moves along at a steady pace so it is easy to read. I highly recommend it. Lee Savino does it again, another great story.

This is a good old western tale and is full of action from the start. However, I did not feel the character Lord James Sebastian Chivington was very realistic and that spoiled the whole read for me. Why was he a Lord if his father was still alive? Lord is a hereditary title.
Having said that this is a fast paced western with well described sex and spanking scenes!

This story is another in this wonderful series by Lee Savino. The characters are well developed, and the story moves along quickly. There is love, action, intrigue, passion – and a lot of punishments. An English lord finding happiness on a Colorado farm in the 19th century makes for an interesting plot – and the fiery lady he falls in love with is a great foil to his laconic nature. There is also mystery, intrigue, and some really bad people who meet their comeuppance in the end.

    4 1/2 stars
James Sebastian was a bit of a bad boy that was sent to America by his father . Francesca is a widow that has been under the thumb of men, including her father. Sparks fly when the two get together. Sebastian finds a passion for life and a cause that was missing from his life. Francesca needs to find happiness in submission as long as there is love there. It is a fine line between letting yourself relax in submission to a man vs being controlled by men. It was an emotional and fun read. I laughed, I cried. Both learned that there is more to life when you find the right person and your purpose in life..

    Never Unfolds Like You Think

As usual with Lee Savino\’s books, I stayed on the edge of my seat. I love the Western era, and the Rocky Mountain Bride Series is no exception. In book seven Rocky Mountain Ride it holds your attention to the end, and I never figured out what was going to happen next except for the discipline. After her husband\’s death, Francesca needs help as she is desperately trying to save their ranch and find some answers.

Lord James Sebastian Chivington, mentioned in other books in this series, comes to life in this book and knows he is the one to give Francesca the helping help she needs and deserves. Together they battle out the obstacles that fall in their way dealing with the love, passion, action, mystery and dangers along the way. Who killed her husband and why was he killed? Wish I could spill the beans, but that wouldn\’t be right. I tell you to know this was another book I couldn\’t put down until I found out myself.

I really enjoyed this new “Rocky Mountain” adventure from Lee Savino. Even though it is in a “series”, it really is a complete stand-alone story. It has a strong Latina heroine (visualize Penelope Cruz) with a penchant for pushing her limits, and an upper class Englishman who has a lot of maturing to do. A greatly interesting plot with lots of bad guys after her ranch including an outlaw gang, an overbearing Brother-in-law and even an evil Catholic Bishop. There is so much built into this story that you are sure to find something you like: intrigue, action, discipline, violence, sex, and spankings, lots of spankings. It even has a very happy ever after type of ending that will leave you completely satisfied. A first class read in all aspects. 5 Stars.

I\’m always excited when I get to read another book in the Rocky Mountain series & I\’ve never been let down yet. Each book has been completely standalone & so while I haven\’t read every book in the series, I have read most of them & am not left struggling when I miss one. This book was a bit of a departure as it didn\’t focus on the characters that had become familiar during the others. I don\’t know whether it was that fact but I just didn\’t connect with the characters as much as I normally do. I still enjoyed it & will happily await more to come, but just left me feeling a little disappointed.

This book is fantastic as a stand-alone. It’s a BDSM romance with a complex plot complete with mystery, danger, villains, friends, betrayal, loyalty, warmth, and love. The characters were deep and real; the author exposed all their fears, faith, confusion, anger, determination, and a host of other emotions. The BDSM was mostly limited to the bedroom and was very well done. The scenes were frequent, without being overbearing, and added depth to the characters of Francesca and Sebastian. I highly recommend this excellently written book.
