Cass Nelson has gotten used to blizzards, wolves, and being an outsider in Slicktrench, Alaska. While she couldn’t be happier in her marriage to Killian, the unexpected arrival of a surprising package is a potent reminder that her marriage isn’t like the relationships her girlfriends have. She might not understand this whole submissive wife business, but she does understand that she can’t imagine living a life without the strong man she adores, even if (or is it because?) he lights up her bottom on a regular basis.

Busy with helping to run the lodge and posting on her very popular blog Casscooks.com, her life tips upside down when she has to deal with her brother-in-law, who is marrying a woman nobody likes, and an IRS auditor who’s nosing around the lodge. Just when Cass has decided that the best way to ensure a happy marriage is to surrender her own dreams, she is offered her own TV show. Her decision to not share this information with her husband will cause all sorts of reverberations.

Will wedding bells ring, and is that howling coming from the wolves outside or the woman inside when her husband discovers that his precious wife is holding back her own secrets?

A charming sweet romance with a fair bit of humour. The inclusion of the recipes was not of interest to me but they might appeal to others. The brother-in-law\’s issues with his fiancee and the mother-in-law\’s affair provided additional elements to pull you through to the end. Enjoyable.

I really enjoyed book 2. In book 1 Cass was married quickly to Killian. Cass was not used to a spanking husband or the wilderness. This book had Cass trying to understand DD, submission, and what it meant to be married to a man that lived in Alaska. She was unsure what DD meant to her situation. All she had to go by is what she read on the internet. Cass is a blogger that blogs recipes. I enjoyed the humor and the recipes. I found this an enjoyable read.

I am just LOVING this series! It is short, but it is so good!! There are so many times that I actually laugh out loud at Cass\’s antics, and then there are her blogs! The best part for me, (and it is hard for me to pinpoint that, since I liked ALL of the parts so much) is the love between Cass and Killian! This is truly a romance with spanking instead of the other way around! Throw in a fun-loving family, with a dash of Alaskan wilderness and you\’ve got yourself…Relish!!!

This is a short story but has 2 intense spanking scenes, This is the contuation of Cass\’s story.Lots of fun with her dealing with a new marriage, running the lodge, adjusting to a domestic discipline relationship, planning weddings and writing her blog. Mayhem and lack of communication occur with spanking as the equalizer.

I like this series and book two did not fail I was laughing out loud several times while reading. Killian and Cass are married and adjusting to married life, and the lodge. She is still working on her blog, which is so fun reading along with the wonderful recipes. In this issue, we see more of Killian’s brother, Torsten, who was engaged to marry Ava, also a budding relationship between frequent visitor Lloyd and Hazel Nelson. Cass is trying so hard to understand and be a submissive wife to Killian, some of her reading lead her to believe she must acquiesce everything in her life for her dominant husband, when he finds out she has not shared an important opportunity, he will take her to task over it. The plot is entertaining with a great cast of characters and situations. The dialog is witty but also heartwarming. The Nelson family will get under your skin. I look forward to more stories in this series. I can’t wait to see what Cass cooks up next.

I have really enjoyed reading about Cass and Killian\’s journey into married life in Relish. I loved the first book and this one didn\’t disappoint either. Cass is really kinda funny the way she puts everything into her blog. She is searching though on how submission to her husband fits into her life and whether or not that means giving up her dreams and desires. I love that Killian supports her in the end and reassures her.

Probably because I did not read book one I found the start of this cute tale difficult to get into. I loved the description of the wolves howling and of Alaska. The overall message of the book is excellent, that even if you are submissive you should not be subjugated, your hopes and dreams are valid.
Lovely characters and a good ending. I will read the next book in this series!

I actually did not read the first book of this series, but I can say that you can still pick up on the story even if you haven\’t. Love the setting and the characters of Cass and Killian, and loved the dynamic of her being a blogger with the emphasis on cooking! Easy, pleasurable story.

Finally a book to my liking

With all honesty, in many of the books, I read I have desired the mentioned recipes not included. Instead, I find myself find myself searching for the recipes online.
    I
even thought of writing a book myself including the recipes mentioned at the end of the book.

However, Susannah Shannon beat me to it with her \”CassCooks Blog Posts\” within this book.

I simply love it! You will too!

Having read the first book in this series I was eager to read this second book. I\’m happy to say that I enjoyed it almost as much as the original. it was still sweet and funny everywhere I wanted it to be. I really enjoy the way that Cass looks at things and the enjoyment she takes in life. I think we all need to be a little more like Cass.

I found this story very enjoyable. It is a little short but packed full of humour and real life. It is a true romance between Cass and Killian, warts and all. Plenty of laugh out loud moments, love and family mingled in with some spanking and intrigue. I look forward to the next instalment.
