(32 customer reviews)

Jackie Journey, youngest of the five Journey siblings has her own story in Jackie Draws a Straight, book five of the Journey family series.

Jackie is a bit of a spoiled brat. Although she studied nursing, her secret goal is to find the right husband and start a family. Dr. Pete Kaminsky, new to Sonora, knows from the beginning of their relationship that he wants Jackie for his wife, but has to learn to deal with Jackie’s brattiness and her need to be spanked. Learning how to spank for punishment is a new experience for Pete, but he’s willing to take on the challenge.

Having seen the loving domestic discipline between her older brother Ace, and his young wife Gabriella, Jackie knows she needs that kind of discipline and Pete is the guy she wants to do it. But when Pete finds out she’s been keeping an important secret from him, there’s only one way to resolve the problem.

I was a little disappoint in this fifth book in the series. I thought the story line a little hard to believe and I just didn\\\’t get a sense of true feeling between the characters. Also the spankings were weak too.

This is the fifth book in the series but the first one I\\\’ve read. I know the story was about Jackie and Pete, but I felt I learned more about Ace and Gabby. Green obviously cared about Ace because his love was so clearly written about. This should have been added to the story about Ace. It doesn\\\’t tell me much at all about Pete or Jackie.

Book five about the last of the Journey siblings, Jackie, and her new boss, Pete, was just as good as the others. Have throughly enjoyed this family and am kind of sad there are no more siblings.

This is a nice edition to the series even though it wasn\\\’t as good as the first four. It was nice to see Jackie finally get her story told.

I really like this series and wanted to like this one just as much but it just wasn\\\’t as good as the others. THe characters weren\\\’t developed that good and the plot wasn\\\’t as interwsting as some of the others.

Book 5 finds the youngest Journey, Jackie graduating as a nurse and finding her first real job with a Dr. taking over the small towns practice. Jackie has a lot to learn about the real working world and her Dr boss is more than willing to help teach her. A wonderful continuation of the Journey family series.

I thought this was a good story. I wasn\\\’t disappointed in this book but it is not my favorite of the series. Ace and Gabby were my favorite couple and I was happy to see them in this book.

Jackie is tired of being the baby sister and having everyone treat her like a kid. She has finished school and is ready to prove herself. But her boss almost fires her before she can even start and she agrees to spanking to keep her job. But this simple solution stirs up both of them. Another sweet addition to the Journey family.

Keep them coming. Somehow this author is able to keep this series engaging without being redundant. This is a family of loving dominant men. Their women know thier love despite the frequent discipline they recieve 5 stars all the way.

I loved the whole Journey series and this was also very good. Jackie was a spoiled brat and after some OTK discipline she started to develop into a warm woman. Good read.

While a good read, of the 5 Journey books this has been my least favorite. I\\\’m not sure if it felt like the relationship between Jackie and Pete wasn\\\’t fleshed out well enough or if the scenes with Ace and Gabby overshadowed the main characters. I love series because I love reading about how the other couples are doing but in this case I think there was a poor balance.

I found this story the most unbelievable of the 5. I don\’t see it happening, maybe if it was 1950 or they were involved in a very religious sect. But, not in this day and age. I also didn\’t believe she was bratty, more ignorant or ignored from the family. It\’s a shame, to me, the way the series played out. I felt as the stories went along they became less enjoyable. This was seemed to be written around the punishments, not the other way around.
