This is a new author for me. I really liked this one plenty of action sweet romance. A hero that will not give up on the brat um heroine. I look forward to being able to get more of her books. My only complaint is wanting more of it. I hope for a part 2, I\’d like to see our couples wedding and honeymoon.

Emotionally charged but a fun read, Maryse Dawson has captured the times – bratty behaviour would not be tolerated yet what was an independent lady to do especially one without a dower. I was tickled pink at how the heroine did not let either of this stop her from expressing herself even tho’ it got her into plenty of trouble at the hands of the hero. Seemed a bit rushed t the end but it worked out alright.

Oh, for the love of a feisty, impulsive, and definitely bratty girl…this is our heroine, Louisa! If you love a story full of escapades in which a young lady chooses to do things that she definitely knows she shouldn\’t do, and then finds herself suffering the consequences of her actions at the hands of one Finlay Armitage, you will love this book!! Between Louisa\’s \”adventures\”, the actions taken by Finlay, and resulting feelings that emerge, I find myself hoping for a sequel. Having enjoyed the beginnings of their courtship so much, I would love to read more about how their marriage would progress! Please?

Such a joy to read! This is the story of a young, financially insecure, spunky, and independent young woman who meets a man who could not be more different. Spunky and independent are not considered plusses in Louisa’s time, however, Finlay finds her as wonderful as she is irritating. Being a little older and a lot wealthier, he finds he cannot stand by and let her behave so poorly, especially as he falls in love with her. Louisa believes she could never fall in love with a man who spanks her, but her heart says otherwise. The battle to their happy ending is humorous and charming. You will not regret delving into this rich story.

This is a sweet story about Louisa and Finlay. Louisa is young and quite immature. She is very curious and, sometimes bratty. Finlay takes her in hand as they fall in love. I would love to read about their marriage! I give this 5 stars.

This Story was super sweet. And had no sex which it did not need. A young girl Lousia who is quite the lovable brat. Learns her lesson over Finleys strong capable lap and with the palm of his hand. The story tells of her innocence and curiosity why i find just lovely. She is very very fun. I wish there was more to the story..hope there will be more to there story.

This was a delightful book. I used to read Maryse Dawson’s stories on discipline and desire and am happy to now read her on Blushing Books. There was lots of action, adventures, spanking and romance. I hope to see more stories from this author.

The 2 books so far that I’ve read of Maryse have been humorous, but full spunk, and lots of spanking, I like how Louise and Finley have a love hate relationship. She does something to irritated him, that he ends up spanking her. Though in scandal. So what else could you ask for in a good story.
I was given this story for a honest review.

This was a fun story of a bratty, impetuous, strong-willed woman, Louisa Tomlinson and a dominant and determined man, Finlay Armitage, and their love-hate relationship. They are drawn to each other like a moth to a flame, but have a way of creating animosity and seem to be constant irritating each other. He is considered a well-to-do gentleman, an astute businessman and came from a well-known and respected family. She is young, wild, and has a way of finding herself in trouble, even going out of her way to aggravate and instigate him into action. There are plenty of OTK spankings, which she deserved. There are no sexual scenes in this story.
The plot kept me captivated and the pages turning. It has a great cast of characters, some trustworthy, some scoundrels and several bratty, catty women. I found the dialog and storyline were entertaining but did not feel it reads true to the period of the eighteenth century.

A very good book, sweet romance with quite a few over the knee spankings. Two sisters find love. Louisa is always in one mess after another, and needs looking after.

This was a sweet romance. The hero was a dominant male who was not afraid to take the heroine over his knee whenever she was bratty…which was quite often. Finished this story in one sitting not only due to length but because I had to see what would happen next. Would love to see a part two of maybe wedding, Mother and Sister. As I said sweet story with no bedroom scenes but still a good book.

What a very entertaining story! I loved the dynamic between Louisa and Finlay. Finlay is a very dominant leading man that does not hesitate to take Louisa over his knee when he feels that she has been naughty. Louisa is a young lady that when trying to have fun or help her family members out tends to get herself into scraps that at times seem bratty but sometimes just plain seem to be bad luck. I??m hoping that this couple will pop up in a future book by this author because I would love to see how their relationship grows and changes them, if at all.
