Samantha’s plan to leave her emotionally abusive, do-nothing boyfriend seem to be going well until her wallet goes missing on her way to Idaho. So when she arrives in the bus station in the small town of Falls Creek with $39 to her name, a case of mistaken identity seems like a short-term fix.

Handsome rancher John Stark mistakes Sam for yet-unseen submissive, romantic pen-pal Nora. And Sam, afraid of being on the street, plays along, thinking bailing on John will be easy. But when things go terribly awry she finds that Western justice is swift and painful and identity theft is taken seriously by a spanking rancher who makes her live up to the expectations he had for the woman she pretended to be.

Have you ever wondered how you\\\’ll make it to the next paycheck? Or how you\\\’d find your next meal? What would you do if you were given the opportunity to live someone else\\\’s life and leave all of your problems behind? Identity Theft is a well written romance that allows you to experience what it might be like to live someone else\\\’s life.

I loved this story because Samantha doesn\\\’t enter into the domestic discipline lifestyle voluntarily. She is forced into it so that she doesn\\\’t go to jail for her theft and ultimate destruction of the truck. Her resistance makes the taming all the more sweeter.

A great story where the end justifies the means…or does it? Sam finds out John’s answer to that the first time he takes her over his knee.

I wish the story were longer. There is a brief but thorough getting to know you period and then the conclusion. I wanted to read more about them once they formed their relationship.

In this short novel, we find love and faith of God everything that happens happens for a reason. It is really a pleasant tale of good principles.

A cute little romantic story, where a city girl who thought she knew what a spanking was, quickly finds out that the wages of sin such as claiming to be someone you\\\’re not is a mighty sore bare behind. And even though his first submissive didn\\\’t show up, john was quick to teach Sam that a real spanking is given out of LOVE, and WAS NOT abuse.

I loved this sweet story. Poor Sam is at the end of her rope and when John\\\’s mistake gives her a break she takes it. Sam tries to take advantage and it sure doesn\\\’t turn out like she expected but you come away with feeling that things turn out right. I loved that even when she was really messing up she felt guilty and John\\\’s reaction really helps her come to turns with a lot of upset she\\\’s been carrying around. The reactions of the other characters also seem natural and add to the story.

I loved the concept of a down on her luck girl assuming another girls identity. The plot here was interesting but a little distant. I thought the women acted a little too immature at times – the kind of brat behavior asking for a spanking. There are time passages which help make the story more believable but keep you a little removed from the characters – as whole chunks of their lives are explained in a paragraph before moving on. I was expecting a bit more discipline, having read some of Clarke\\\’s previous books, but this one had very few scenes. Overall if you are looking for a Domestic Discipline (DD) with romance and no sex this should be right up your alley. My personal preference leans more towards the more spanking less talking.

A girl that is down on her luck sometimes will do things she normally never would, like pretent to be someone else entirely. She definitly wasn\\\’t prepared to be living in DD household and John certainlty had his work cut out for him. Wish there had been more spankings in it but other than that this was a very good book.

Samantha was so down on her luck that she decided to pretend to be someone else and she got a lot more than she bargained for in the process. Very nice romance that deals with being made to live in a D/D relationship even though she never thought she would ever want to.

After losing her money Samantha decides to capitalize on John\\\’s mistake in thinking that she is the woman he has been writing to for months. This is a sweet story.

This was a fairly cute/sweet story but I didn\\\’t feel any chemistry between the H/h and the story felt choppy – as others said, a paragraph explaining months of living. This is not SC\\\’s best work but it is fairly good although lukewarm as far as chemistry/storyline.
