This book has it all! The characters are laugh out loud funny. However, there is real tenderness and yearning in the journey of coming together as a couple. The DD lifestyle is gently entered into after a rocky start.

Provided some good info on a DD relationship. With that being said, I found the story line choppy, and the anti-catholic sentiment unnecessary.

This is a good book for anyone interested in the DD lifestyle because it shows how it doesn\\\’t always go as smoothly as we might like it to and that no matter how much you know you want it there are going to be some ups and downs. THe characters are fun to read about and the plot is very well written.

Though it may have provided more than a mere glimpse into the DD lifestyle, I found the book\\\’s construction into separate chapters on nearly every page to be EXTREMELY DIFFICULT to read. But, if this story (as well as any subsequent ones, written by this author) were rewritten with less chapters and more substance, perhaps I might be willing to take a chance on another of their books. Though right now, that WOULDN\\\’T be the case.

This was a truly funny story. Talk about a person who doesn\\\’t like to take responsibility for ones own actions. However we all grow at different times and when it is time for her to say good bye to the part of her self consious she does

Ted meets Mary Beth in an usual way while chasing her for a traffic violation. She escapes and they meet again in a social setting. A good story about two good people and their life journey.

I have some mixed emotions about this story. I read it twice to see what I felt about it. The second time around gave me some more positive thoughts, I believe Mr. Hourie did a good job of describing how someone can come to understand DD. I liked his characters and the story line. However, there were times where I disagreed with comments that his characters made. The story did get my emotions involved which is a good sign.

Interesting book in its own right though it didn\\\’t really flow and the plot was choppy. THe characters were good and the look into a D/D relationship was nice.

This was a difficult read for me. It does give you a good sense of what living in a DD relationship is like. However I felt that the story didn\\\’t flow well. Some parts of the story were very well written and some of it was lacking substance.

A cute romance. Mary Beth is studying to be a law clerk. Her housing situation leaves much to be desired until the cop Ted offers her a place to live but there are strings attached. She has to do as told or 4 months until her exam.

Mary Beth is an immature college grad. Ted isn\’t the perfect man some novelists tend to write. I think a better title could have been thought up. It seemed the author had imaginary friends as a child and wanted to include them. Mentioned but not well explained early in the book but are absent later.

Over all a fun quick read.

It takes courage to ask someone to help you and Mary Beth definitely has courage. I don\\\’t think she expected Ted to help in the way he does but it all works out in the end.
