When you put a congressman together with a Detroit hood, you can wind up with an explosive combination. That’s what the people at the Firm think, anyway, and they send in their best agents, Robert and Kassie, to investigate this potential threat to national security.

No strangers to alternative life styles, the intrepid pair enter the shadowy world of swingers, where they soon discover that there are secrets amongst the players that were hidden away long before any of them became involved in the lifestyle.

Excited by the prospect of switching partners, if only for an hour, submissive Kassie plunges headlong into this brave new world, only to awaken the green-eyed monster deep in her heart. And though alpha male Robert will do whatever it takes to accomplish their mission, the price of success might be to lose the only woman he has ever truly loved.

A Swinging Christmas, Spy Games book 3, by Heather Hart is a wonderful story about old friends. They are keeping youthful secrets from the past while tying not to allow those very secrets to cause trouble in their current adult lives. As Robert and Kassie try to infiltrate this little group they are also trying to keep their personal and professional lives seperate. Although their Master/slave relationship seemed a little week they were still growing as a couple. Spanking scenes were fit in at appropriate times but would have loved a more focused meaning behind them. Overall, A Swinging Christmas, was a quick moving mystery with intrigue that kept my attention. The twists and turns kept the interest strong trying to figure out who were connected to each other and why they had the underlying emotions with each other. I would recommend this book and look forward to the next story and continuation of the relationship between Robert and Kassie.

I liked this next installment in the Spy Games series. I feel that Robert was a little easier to understand because of his reluctance to share Kassie. I thought the spankings made since and weren\’t just in as an after thought. Can\’t wait to read more!

Kassie & Robert, agents for “The Firm”, continue their adventures in this third installment of Spy Games. This story starts with an “event” they have to attend on Christmas day and gets right into it with an erotic warm-up spanking in Chapter 2. The plot revolves around a Congressman (Ted Marley) who has potentially gone bad, and the characters (principally Tony Walken) who may be leading him that way. Kassie and Robert are tasked to find the connection(s). A Christmas Day party leads to a private Swingers Party, with clues that lead to an internet search of a group of University friends.
Good plot development with lots of twists, keeping the reader interested in more than just the spankings, and in the end a picture does indeed say “more than a thousand words”.
A great read, at Christmas time or not, and one that will surely make you want to go back and read Spy Games Books 1 and 2. 4.5 Stars

  7. Redrabbitt

This is the third story in the Spy Game series and can read well as a standalone. Kassie and Robert are working on a new case for The Firm. The mission involves a well-respected congressman, a sleazy lowlife crime lord and how are they connected. From a Christmas party to being invited to a swinger party, murder, secret affairs and hidden agendas. The plot kept me captivated and the pages turning as the mystery and suspense of this story unfolds and motives are revealed. Kassie lets her emotions get involved above her job and pays the price with Robert over his knee. This is a fun series, I love the chemistry between Robert and Kassie and all the mystery they encounter along the way.

I ended up getting interested into the story, which kept me engaged with the book. However, I struggled in liking the characters. They had big mood swings and were manipulative. I really liked the mystery of the story. That was well written and engaging. Definitely kept me guessing until the end.

I enjoyed this story. There is mystery and intrigue and a case to be solved. However, I think what I liked most about it was the development of the relationship between Kassie and Robert. They both discovered new things about themselves and their lifestyle. I look forward to the next instalment.
