I didn\'t read the first book in this series, but this installment was quite entertaining. The ending leads me to believe there will be more to come, since it was a bit open ended. I\'d have like it if more was included in the individual story rather than having to wait for a conclusion. But again, the writing was engaging and the story interesting overall.

I love Bella\\\'s style of writing. I love how the story is based on more then just the physical relationship. I love the desire the truly help and develop the characters lives.

This is the second in what is obviously a continuing story. Although it could be a little longer the author ends the book at a good point to make you hope the next installment comes soon. &newline&&newline&In the Solicitation, book 1, the couple is in a platonic relationship. In The Shortlist it is during this book but will develop into a romantic one in the next book. I look forward to seeing how all the relationships develop.&newline&&newline&The British culture as evidenced in both books shows the difference between the wealthy aristocratic and lower socio-economic classes as well as the attitude toward spanking. It contributes to making the books a fun read.

A reader:

This is quickly becoming my favorite series of books here on Blushing. The Shortlist is a very wonderful addition to the Wardolf Manor series, and it is every bit as good as the first. There is a slightly more romantic tone than in the first, and it was very sweet and chaste. The characters continue to surprise and entertain me, which is very good, and I am happily awaiting the next book!
