This is an interesting story. Ian is in line to be the next Duke. His father wishes him to marry, but he hasn’t found the right woman yet. The woman he has been squiring about the area is not one he wishes to marry. When he tells her, she curses him. Then, we are introduced to Amanda. She lives in Cincinnati in the current day. She finds out that she has inherited a castle in Scotland. She decides to go to Scotland to see the castle and start to sell it, but once there she falls in love with the area. She also starts to see Ian. He is allowed to search the world every 100 years for his bride. He decides that Amanda is the one for him. There are spankings when Amanda does not behave as he thinks she should. Amanda has to decide if she loves Ian enough to go back in time with him to be his duchess. I really enjoyed this story. The dialogue is very good and the author really shows how difficult a decision this is for Amanda. I give this 4 stars

Oh what an enchanting tale across the centuries of time. From a cursed soon-to-be Scottish Duke, Ian Galloway, to an orphaned American girl, Amanda Brown. What a shock for Amanda to learn she had a great-great aunt and had inherited a castle in Scotland. To learning of the Highland Curse that involved Galloway Castle and Ian Galloway. You can\'t help but fall in love with the charming Ian and his dominate personality, how he takes control and in hand, Amanda to tame her of her ways. The storyline was captivating like a fairytale and was in some ways a cross between Beauty and the Beast and Cinderella. I loved the dialogue between Ian and Amanda and their night together was beautiful and erotic. Are the residence staff of Galloway Castle part of the evil spell cast on Ian by the witch? Can a modern, but conservative 21st century girl go back in time 200 years and be happy? Stepping through the portals of time to find a life of true love and happiness, the ending was perfect.

What a marvelous adventure this was. Isabella Kole has outdone herself in this awesome storyline which goes back and forth through modern time to historical Scotland via time travel. The vivid descriptions of the scenery, the clothing and even the Scottish accent made you feel as if you were there. I especially loved the descriptions of the food and the insights into the characters both main and secondary. The romance was hot and so were the spankings. I\'m looking forward to another book from the awesome Isabell

I really liked this book. It had mystery. “will she, won’t she” It had romance. &newline&There were a few, pretty graphic sexual scenes, but they fit with the story. &newline&She was spanked with hand, hairbrush and figged. But it was a nice story. &newline&We loved all of the characters and the Scottish dialog did not get in the way.&newline&I was happy that there was an Epilogue that tied up the loose ends. A Nice&newline&sweet read.&newline&
