Anna is a mildly antisocial medical student, but not because she wants to be. She’s new in town, stressed, and hoping to get settled in her apartment before classes begin. On a trip to town, a handsome stranger and good Samaritan, Allen, accidentally locks her out of her car.

Frustrated, Anna vows never to have anything to do with him again. Fate steps in, however, and she finds herself running into him on a daily basis. He appears to always show up where she happens to be. The fact that he lives down the hall doesn’t help matters. A spark seems to be igniting between them, but that doesn’t mean she’s going to make it easy for him.

When the two start to date exclusively, Allen quickly learns that Anna, despite her workaholic attitude, is a feisty young woman with a temper to match. He is quick to firmly introduce her to the world of domestic discipline. Anna soon realizes it’s much more than she anticipated.

Does their new relationship grow and flourish? Will Anna be able to accept and enjoy Allen’s relationship ideals, or will it just be one more thing to add to her already hectic, stressful schedule?

Publisher’s Note: This book contains spanking of adult women as a form of domestic discipline, as well as explicit sexual scenes. If these themes offend you, please do not purchase.

Allen eases Anna's tension

I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book. Anna is young, prone to panic attacks, and just starting medical school in a new town. She stumbles into a spanking party by accident and is given a card in case she wants to try another time. She also meets a young man named Allen, who is also her neighbor. Allen believes that the key to Anna's anxiety are tension relieving spankings. Before too long they begin a romantic relationship with Allen becoming more of the dominant he truly is. Anna loves it. Sweet spanking romance.

Unlocking her desires

I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book. Anna is moving to a new town to study medicine. She is stressed out with everything that needs to be done. She finds a stranger tampering with her car when she’s at a restaurant. Allen was trying to be helpful by locking her car for her as she left it open, but in the process he actually locked her out as she left the keys in the car. Allen offers to drive her home and she finds out that Allen lives in the same building as her. He persist in befriending her and when she finally accepts an invite to a dinner she finds herself so stressed out that she gets a panic attack. Allen suggests that he knows how to help her and spanks her to make her feel better and so the relationship begins. A nice story.

Cute couple and sweet romance...

This was a sweet love story. Anna moves away from home to go to medical school and quickly becomes overwhelmed. She has a tendency to be quite serious, overworks herself, stresses out, and has panic attacks. Allen is more relaxed and believes in life having balance. These two young adults meet and while Allen is immediately taken with Anna, she does not feel the same about Allen. With time they become friends and Allen helps Anna with her panic attacks, but in an unconventional way. While Anna is confused and a little appalled, she also sees that she feels more relaxed than with anything she has tried. Shortly, these two explore a spanking relationship together and find that they may not live within societies norm but a spanking relationship fits their lives and feelings.
This book is for readers that enjoy a sweet love story that involves spanking but not too much power exchange. While this is the first book I have read from this author I look forward to seeing what their next book will bring. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.

Sensitive Read

I found this a really sweet, sensitive read that dealt with issues that can be very touchy for a lot of people. The top of mental health/anxiety was handled gently & the characters written so that it seemed I had been given a window into what it's like to live with or love someone who deals with these issues. Overall I found the story original and engaging. Definitely worth a read.
