YOU MUST THINK BEFORE YOU ACT

The story involved the marriage of Jack and Chantal Aubrey, and all her antics. Jack is an astute businessman, who sometimes must be out of town. He loves his wife, Chantal, but she has a petulance for getting into trouble. Oft times she knows that if, and more than likely, not if, but when he finds out, she will be punished, yet she goes ahead and does things that will get her into trouble.

Chantal is headstrong, and even a bit bratty, with a stubborn streak to her. She is always quick with an excuse, trying to reason out why she should not be punished, but it never works. She is caught so many times, including in lies, and never seems to learn. Even what starts out innocent, with no malice, seems to change quickly, especially when a friend is involved.

The marriage of Jack and Chantal is a loving one, and even though he must correct his wife often, they have a very loving and physical relationship. The spankings are often OTK, with hand, and also include implements, including a hairbrush, paddle, belt, strap, and cane. She is always forgiven and they usually make love afterward. “Why did she bring this on herself? She always thought she’d get away with something but she rarely did.”

Chantal is in trouble again

I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book. This is Chantal and Jack's story. Chantal's bottom meets Jack's hand, belt and paddle quite often since she can not seem to think before acting. Jack adores her, but can't let her run wild. Sexy romance and plenty of spanking.

A reader:

Oh, Chantal...

Chantal and Jack have a loving relationship. Chantal can be quite rebellious and does not always think before she acts. Her impetuous nature results in frequent corrections. Jack never fails taking Chantal in hand and more importantly, never fails to let her know of his love for her. This book is a must if you are looking for a period romance that has plenty of hot scenes between be an adorable brat and alpha husband.

Chantal's Series of Misadventures

This short Victorian Age spanking romance is a bit of a disappointment if you are looking for any type of story line. It reads more like a compilation of one-off spankings followed by some very erotic sex. Young Chantal is married to Jack, and he expects her to be obedient and submissive at all times. Needless to say, she finds this overly challenging and cannot seem to be either obedient or completely truthful with him in all matters. What follows is a series of various (mis)adventures by Chantal that each in turn result in a disciplinary spanking, to various degrees of harshness, usually followed by some form of sexual gratification. As I said, there is no real story line and therefore there is no climactic closing to the book. However, the spankings are realistic, the sex erotic and somewhat graphic, so if this is what you are looking for you will be well satisfied. I tend to look for more of a plot as well.
