A blessing or a curse? That's what Hannah Stone can't decide about a special gift she's been given.

When Hannah and her best friend, Cassie, joined by their boyfriends, set out on one last fun-filled summer of vacations before beginning their senior year of college, they have no idea just how adventurous the trips are going to be.

An old inn that sits along the banks of the Mississippi holds a secret or two, and Hannah finds herself in the thick of things, much to the disapproval of her protective boyfriend. When he reveals his dominant side to her, will it turn her off or endear him to her forever?

The Smoky Mountain trip, where unknown dangers are hiding, turns out to be a life-changing experience.

And the last vacation...a relaxing beach trip...may be the one that convinces her the 'gift' is a rare and treasured blessing.

A delightful paranormal mystery

Despite the title, this book is a happy, uplifting story. Hannah has three vacations trips planned for the summer. On the first trip, she discovers she can communicate with ghosts, and the first mystery ensues ... a murder mystery. Unfortunately for her, her boyfriend is unhappy with her dangerous choices, and her first mystery also results in her first spanking. She also gets to use her special gift on her next two trips. This full length novel contains moderate love scenes and mild erotic and disciplinary spankings. I enjoyed the entire book and hope this was the first of a series. I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Good book

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. I had a hard time getting into this book. Each trip would have made more sense as its own story. Hannah and her friends take short trips over the course of one summer. Each trip has Hannah talking to spirits to solve crimes, something her boyfriend is against.

Hannah's Horror

I loved this amazing book which was a paranormal adventure and romantic suspense. It was a fast paced, page turner and grabbed me from the first page until the finish. The heroine discovers her gift and uses it to bring justice to her characters. It had me laughing out loud and reaching for tissues to dry my eyes. Sweet romances, spanking, danger and mystery. I received an Advanced Reader Copy from the author for an honest review and the thoughts and opinions are mine.

An unexpectedly very good read.

A very good unexpected good read. I thought it would be short and sweet but it is much more than that. The characters are well defined and the story a real page-turner. It is not just a murder story but so much more. Poor Hannah has a lot to learn but she is well supported by her friends. The two couples also start on their domestic discipline relationship. All well described. There is some spankings and spicy sex. I highly recommend this easy to read book.
