Overview

John Morris, a widower for a little over nine years, has an eye for his neighbor, Natalie. But that eye is trained on her shapely backside, which he would like to flip up in the air for a damn good spanking for the way she behaves! Her Saturday morning screaming at her boys finally pushes him too far, and before he realizes what he is doing, he has her bent over the back of his sofa, wailing the tar out of her for screaming at her sons on a Saturday morning. It was her turn to get a good lesson, but John is the one who learns that he really cares about her.

Amos Linville is a former Special Ops Warrior, and he has horrible nightmares. He is afraid that if he allows himself to show his love for his Pastor's daughter, he will wake up some morning only to learn he has killed her during one of his bad dreams. Lydia is tired of being put off and takes matters in her own hands, stowing away in the backseat of his car so she can spend the weekend with him and convince him he is wrong. What she didn't count on was the temper the normally gentle man possessed when he was furious, or the hard hand he rigorously applied to her bottom.

Can the two men find love, in spite of their determination to remain single?

This was a cute short book. I had not read the first ones so I was figuring out who everyone was most of the book. It had 3 or 4 stories going on at once with the main characters of the book. There were lots of spankings, humor and two of the characters falling in love. Wish it was longer! Gave it 4 stars!

The Team returns with more cases, but this story mainly revolves around team members, John Morris, a widower, and his neighbor lady, Natalie and her three boys. When she is attacked by her former brother-in-law, John steps in along with team members to protect her. Amos Linville has a stalker named Lydia, his Pastor’s daughter and a woman he has feelings for but fears his nightmares will cause him to hurt her. The team has such a bond that is stronger than most families have. Their interaction and loyalty are unique. This is a fast paced story, with several cases and happy endings. Several of these ladies will incur OTK spankings for correction. There are no sex scenes in the stories. Each story will read as a standalone. I look forward to more in this series.

A reader:

This is book three of The Team. This is about John and Amos. John has been a widower for the last nine years and is interested in his neighbor, Natalie. She has three little boys and she tends to yell at them on Saturday mornings. John is tired of it and he takes her to his house and spanks her. This shocks her enough to realize that she is taking out her sorrow about her husband dying on her little boys. They start dating and realize that they are falling in love.

Amos is fighting his attraction to Lydia, a young woman in his church. But, she pushes the issue and earns herself a spanking. He eventually gives in and they become a couple. We also catch up with Sam and Tandy and Lee and Makenna. I give this 5 stars!
