This was an enjoyable book. This couple enters into a contract before marriage that allows Sean to punish his wife when she breaks certain rules. I love that Sean wants to help his wife overcome her problems instead of getting rid of her. A very good well written book.

I enjoyed this story so much that I bought Book 2 right after I finished it. It was a great story that I just couldn't put down. DD with lots of love. Those are my favorite kind of books.

Very good story about a couple who enter into a DD contract to help the wife get over her very destructive choices that she agreed to before they got married. The husband is very good and truly loves his wife and it really shows how he wants to help her find a real solution so he doesn't have to keep punishing her.

This was a dd story with a contract between husband and wife( I wonder if this is common in dd marriages) overall a great spanking novel. Hero makes a design and sticks to it. Different method of dealing with substance abuse overall good read. marriages

This was a really enjoyable story. The marriage contract signed, the wedding now behind them they set off on their honeymoon to enjoy some time down time enjoying each other. Unfortunately addicition is a tough beast to beat for Bridget. Her new husband Sean is determined to help her break it with lots of love and discipline. I am looking forward to more stories about the Brady Clan.

Sean and Bridget are on their honeymoon. Bridget signed a marriage contract agreeing to domestic discipline in their marriage. Bridget struggles with anxiety and a dependency on drugs to keep her calm, and Sean uses spankings to help her kick her addiction. My favorite part of the story was the explanations about domestic discipline and hearing how Sean learned about DD from his father. Apparently, Sean's siblings are also in DD marriages as are his parents. Looking forward to more Brady family stories.

I enjoyed this story. It was a good story about domestic discipline with a nice plot and well deserved spankings. It lacked a spark that makes me excited to keep reading though. The story while well told just did not invoke emotion in me to feel along with the characters. I do think its a book well worth reading for many who like this style though.

Ms. Alanson has created a man that cares enough for his woman to help her through tough issues. To help her find her real self and learn to like herself. Having a very strong family to support him helps stay vigilant. A modern love story with modern troubles. Enjoyable.

I really enjoyed reading this book! It definitely showed a true, caring, DD relationship. The storyline kept me turning the pages until the end. I will definitely be reading more in this series about the Brady family!

"""This story had a bit more to it than some of the other spanking stories I've read lately. Unfortunately, that isn't very high praise. Bridget and Sean are newlyweds on their honeymoon. (These books always seem to be about newlyweds lately, hmmmmm) They have agreed to a contract whereby Bridget will receive spankings for certain offenses. I did like that there was discussion between these two, rather than just a flat, the man is always right situation. Bridget is a mess of anxieties and insecurity which had me wondering what Sean saw in her to begin with. She has become dependent on tranquilizers and that is the main reason for their marriage contract - to support Bridget in resisting her dependency on drugs and alcohol. There were so many conversations between these two, that it became rather tedious. Sean's convictions are absolute, while Bridget's are conditional - we read about this over and over again. While I appreciated the time taken to explain why a punishment was delivered and why spankings would help Bridget to be less anxious, rather than the, because I said so tack sometimes taken - it was a little too much of a good thing. I'm also rather leery about the medical validity of using spankings to aid in overcoming addiction, although I'd really love to see some studies done on this subject. """

Good story. I understood the safe feeling the drugs must have given Bridget and I can definitely understand the fear of the drugs that Sean felt. The caring and fear of both parties were well expressed by Alanson. Sean went over and above the simple tar and feathers approach of discipline. He spent more time researching the problem and looking for a permanent solution rather than beat and tell. Alanson did a very good job making me care for the characters and their situation. I even learned something about endorphins!

Sean and Bridget are on their honeymoon and she with all her insecurities tries to start taking drugs again. Their signed marriage contract addresses this and the consequences. The story of how they deal with this is interesting, heart wrenching and heart warming when they triumph. Great characters and I can't wait the read more of the Brady family.

I loved the setting. It's description of Michigan and the great lakes was quite beautiful. I liked the Brady clan and only wish there were more families that instilled values and discipline into the children of today's society.

A good story there were a lot of pages devoted to descriptive scenes which had me a little lost at times I would have liked more dialogue but I look forward to the next book

This is a really good story about a newly married couple who definitly have a rocky start. It was really nice to see this couple work on their problems together now matter how much work it took or how many spankings was needed for that matter. You really do see that these love each other and wants whats best for their marriage not just having someone who is a doormat.

When I first started reading this story I wasn't so sure about it because Sean seemed a bit severe and unbending but as the story begins to unfold my opinion changed. As you get to know Bridget you realize she is making really destructive choices and has not been helped in more conventional methods. She responds well to Sean's brand of help and you have to admire a man who is willing to put in the hard work and not just walk away from a new marriage when the truth is revealed. You can also see that Bridget is on the way to making better choices and getting stronger by the end as well.

Great story. The love between Sean and Bridget comes through, even though he gives her some intense spankings. I like that he doesn't want a subservient wife, just one that abides by rules and the consequences they both establish. I also liked the love scenes between the two. All in all, a very hot read!
