Kenzie Langley has been on her own since she was fourteen: no family, few friends, but with a solid sense of hope. Now she would spend three days and nights together with her boyfriend and she looked forward to entering this spanking world she'd dreamed of. All her life, people had let her down, but Cory had shown her over the three months they'd been dating how trustworthy he was.
This holiday might be a beginning, but by the end of the weekend, they came to an unmistakable conclusion. One that could change the course of their lives forever.

Kenzie Langley glanced around as her car drove under the Corbin's Bend sign. She'd only been here once to meet her boyfriend's family, but knowing what she was here for this weekend made her shiver with excitement. At nineteen, she knew she was young, and yet she knew her own mind more than most girls her age. Probably came from having survived on her own from the time she was fourteen.
The streets were packed with snow but had been plowed recently, so her little Ford Focus was able to move along without a problem. The Denisons lived just west of the big dome, so she was able to find their home easily enough. She could never forget the dome. When she pulled onto the drive where Cory lived, she spotted three vehicles in front of the house and stopped dead. It was just supposed to be her and Cory this weekend. Who did the other cars belong to?
Before she could consider backing out of the cul-de-sac and going somewhere to make a call, she spotted the world's most gorgeous guy walking out of the front door. Cory Denison was five feet eleven inches tall, with wide shoulders and strong muscles you couldn't tell were there unless you touched him. With strawberry-blond hair and hazel eyes, a long angular face with pronounced cheekbones, and one tattoo she hadn't seen yet but he'd promised to show her this weekend, he was the perfect specimen of manhood, in her opinion. When she added to that the fact he now ran his own business, she considered herself really lucky she had caught his attention the day he'd walked into her work. His face lit up when he spotted her car, and he waved toward the drive in front of the garage.
Cautiously, she pulled in next to a large SUV, and rolled down her window as he walked up to her door. "Hey, Kenzie," he said with a grin, leaning in to give her a kiss. "Mom and Dad are about to leave, so Dad backed out of his spot. This way you can park in the garage."
"Oh, okay. Thanks." Kenzie could feel her light olive-toned skin flush as the door to the garage opened and she pulled inside. She knew Cory's parents liked her; they had accepted her with open arms when he'd brought her home over the Thanksgiving weekend. But for them to know the two of them were going to be here alone for the next few days was kind of embarrassing.
Before she'd even turned the car off, Cory opened the door, holding out his hand to help her out. It was one of the first things she had noticed about him when working at Lerner's Groceries in Boulder. He was a gentleman. At his age of twenty-one, that was a bit shocking. Other guys the same age would treat her right for a night, but then expect something at the end. In the three months they'd been dating, while he had made out with her, he had never pressured her for more than she was willing to give. Cory always treated her like a lady, which was a rather heady experience. Of course, he always insisted she treat herself the same way. That was much harder.
"Hey," she said, as he pulled her to her feet and into his arms.
"Hey," he murmured, leaning in to kiss her; a long, leisurely kiss that made her knees quake and her heartbeat speed up. Pulling back slightly, he leaned his forehead against hers. "I'm glad you came up."
"Me too." His arms hugged her lightly against him even as his hands slid to her rear end and squeezed lightly. "Cory," she gasped, with a giggle. "Not where everyone can see."
He grinned. "We're in Corbin's Bend, Kenz. Nobody would think twice about it."
Nobody would think twice about it. Such a unique concept. Kenzie had thought she was a freak for being fascinated with spanking. Until Cory told her the entire town he lived in was built on the premise of being a spanker community. While she hadn't seen or heard any spanking going on during the time she'd been there in November, Cory had promised to spank her this weekend. And oh, how she looked forward to it. Her rear end tingled with anticipation.
"Morning, Kenzie," David, Cory's father said, as he walked into the garage. "Looking forward to the holiday?"
"Yes, sir. I am." Calling an adult sir or ma'am was built into her character. Her parents had insisted on it when she was a child, and Kenzie had found that being polite went a long way toward getting people to treat her right.
"Us, too. Tayna and I haven't been to see her sister Tessa in five years. We're looking forward to the trip."
"How far away does she live?" Kenzie asked, pulling away from Cory so as not to embarrass herself. Cory put an arm around her waist as she walked toward the door that led inside.
"She lives in Kentucky. We're flying out today, planning on staying a few days, and being back by Christmas Eve." David opened the door, waving her inside.
She loved the Denisons' home. It was so bright and warm, with a light tan carpet, pale green walls, and family pictures everywhere.
"Kenzie, you got here," Tayna said warmly, enfolding her in a hug. "We're so glad you were able to come up and keep Cory company this weekend. There aren't a lot of young people his age here in town."
"I'm fine, Mom," he said, with a grin. "I'm gonna go grab Kenzie's things and be right back." To her surprise, he leaned down and kissed her warmly in front of his parents before heading back into the garage.
Startled, she glanced up at his mother to see if there might be disapproval in her eyes. Instead, the woman beamed. Tucking her arm into Kenzie's, Tayna led her into their living room. "We're so pleased you and Cory are together," she said, as she sat down on their long, floral sofa. Kenzie sat on the other end of the couch. The air was scented softly with cinnamon and allspice. She inhaled deeply and smiled. Even their home smelled of the holidays. How wonderful.
Turning to look at the woman next to her, Kenzie smiled shyly. "Me too."
"All right, Tay, time to go," David said, coming down the stairs with one suitcase. "Got everything in the car except this. Let's go see Tess." With a squeal that made her sound twenty rather than in her mid-forties, Tayna jumped up.
"Have a great time, Kenzie," she said, as David took her hand and led her toward their garage. "There's plenty of food in the cupboards. And we have a lot of movie channels. And"
Her husband laughed. "I doubt they'll be bored, babe. Let's leave them alone." As they got to the garage door, Cory came through with the one gift bag she had left in the car, as well as her suitcase. She grimaced as she looked at it. Someone had thrown it out, and Kenzie found it when she was fifteen. She'd been so pleased to have something of her own that she had never bought another one, even though this one was long past its prime. Looking at how nice everything was in Cory's home, Kenzie shrunk a little.
After saying goodbye to his folks, Cory shut the door to the garage and beamed at her. "I'll put these upstairs and be right back."
