Kami is so talented and proves it. Reid is a jerk and proves it. I wanted Kami to kick Reid out on the street and get someone who deserves her. Instead she got a second husband who didn't value her over himself. UGH!

I find it hard to like a story when I don't like the main character and I don't like Reid. I did not find him to be honorable or worthy of Kami's love. He spanks her in anger, goes way overboard then then just leaves. He does apologize for the severity of the spanking the following day at which point they have sex in her office, then he avoids her for a week. When Kami sees him next he informs her that he has a date and that what happened between he and Kami was no big deal. Another week goes by in which they don't see each other. Kami shows up at Reid's house at which time he spanks her, gropes her and sends her home. A few more days, a quick business meeting and then he shows up at her house and spanks her for trying to sell him all of the business. Kami locks herself in her house for 3 days to get her head straight. They finally see each other at the Builders Ball where he apologizes for everything, tells her he has been in love with her since high school and proposes. There is no romance, hardly any kindness or respect from the man. I was very disappointed

This one was a surprise to me! I usually like western romances the best, but this contempory romance blew me away! I loved it from beginning to end. Everything about; the storyline, the characters, and definitely the spankings! Great job!

Great story! I loved Kami's strength and her determination to reclaim her life. Reid was a great hero and the chemistry between them was wonderful.

Great story showing how life doesn't have to be the way you are told it is going to be. Kami loses her husband but is finally able to show the world who she really is once his controlling influence is gone.

Nice story about a woman who finally isd able to come into her own after her controlling husband dies unexpectedly. She definitly faces some bumps alonf the way but Reid helps keep her on tract the best way he knows how. Glad he finally came to his senses in the end.

When Kami lost her husband she begins to find herself again. But that also leads to her butting heads with her husbands friend and business partner Reid. Reid is used to be in charge but has always had a bit of a crush on Kami. He also has a preconceived idea of who she is based on her actions during her marriage. Guilt, confusion, and misunderstanding almost destroy any chance they have to build a new relationship but with the help of some friends they have a chance to finally get it all together.

I loved this story! Kami and Reid had great chemistry and I would love to read some more about them!
