Starla is one of my favorite writers and I have enjoyed her characters. This book was sooooo romantic. I feel if the characters make me cry during their troubles and makeups that it was worth getting involved in their lives. Thank you again Starla for a wonderful read.

Sam and Valentine were instantly physically attracted to each other in a major way. The friction and fireworks arrive because they don't see eye to eye on things and it takes them longer to sort through their emotions and to work out how they can get what they want out of life. Considering the story is in a contemporary setting the spanking scenes were very believable and the story and growing romance and love between the two was really good. It flowed well and there was plenty happening and it had a good ending.

Sam gets dragged to a wedding away from work. Valentine can't wait to get away from work. Yet, they find each other and the fireworks begin. Sweet, romantic story of two people facing decisions in their lives and finding love at the same time.

This was a very cute story..the cowboy and cowgirl you will fall in love with. Two hard working people fall in love even though they thought they wouldnt like each other. it was a great western and themed in the present time. cc

Wonderful romance with lots a great characters, set in beautiful Hawaii. The spanking scenes went well with the story but it was not the main focus. Valentine Hart is a romance therapist who's become very cynical on her own love life. After her ex-husband came out of the closet after their marriage she has been depressed and just doesn't have the heart to counsel happy couple's anymore. She really wants to open her own B&B and council young women who've been in bad relationships. On the spur of the moment she decides to accept a wedding invitation of one of her previous clients that going to be held in Hawaii. She had helped her become more independent and get out from under the thumb of her over bearing, strict brother who raised her. She is sure he wont be at the wedding for her to give her two cents to because he would never leave his precious farm. Sam Thompson had to give up his dreams of becoming a vet when his parents died. He had to take control of running the large ranch that had been in the family for many generations and also raise his younger sister Shelby. He has been trying to get Shelby and her future husband to take over running the ranch so he could go back to school but Shelby and Dale want to live in Hawaii and run his family's tour business. He wasnt going to go to her wedding but Shelby finally guilted him into it.. And here is where the fun starts... Neither Valentine nor Sam is happy to see the other but neither can deny there strange attraction to the other. Its not long before Sam takes her to hand but all that does it really get them both all worked up. The two from there get to know each other and eventually confess how unhappy they both in there lives and what they really want to do. We get to see alot of his sister and her fiance and how Sam has to come to terms with not really being fair to Shelby. There was lots of humor and emotional moments through out that lead up to a very humorous and satisfying ending.

Another winner by Starla Kay with some trluy wonderful characters that are believable and interesting and the minor charatcters are funny and interesting as well.

This is a great romance story. I loved reading the developing relationship between Valentine and Sam. I would definitely recommend for a great read.

This is a great romance story with lots of interesting characters who just don't really know what they want in life and then boom when they least expect it things start to fall into place. The spanking scenes were good and fit in great with the story even though in this case they were really just an added bonus.

Great book! I always like Starla Kaye's books, but this one was especially good. I loved the character interaction between not only the main two characters, but the siblings as well. A very hot page turner!

Fantastic story. Valentine is the quintessential wounded healer. Sam is disillusioned about ranching and relationships and losing the sister he had raised to her new life and husband. All the characters in the book are in transition and looking for an excuse to moved on to the life they really want but don't see a way to move beyond their old life. They all are learning to think outside of their boxes.

I like stories that just happen to have spanking, and this is a good one. This story could stand alone as a romance story even without the spanking, but the spanking makes it steamy. Loved this story- great romance!

Starla Kayes if one of my favorites. Sassy therapist, Valentine clashes with domineering cowboy, Sam at his sister's wedding. One of Valentine's friends and a patient they clash over his dealings with her. Sam an alpha male and Valentine strong minded and just as stubborn have to deal with each other. Fun Story

I love Starla Kay and she does not disappoint with this story either. A romantic story with great characters, some spanking and a happy ending! What more could you want?
