Not bad, but not particularly good, either. There was too much telling, not enough showing (e.g. we have a stilted dialogue over what’s required to start and run a restaurant). The other major problem I had was that the heroine came across (for most of the book) as really immature. We’re never told her age, but she refers to high school as a long time ago, which surprised me, because I kept thinking she had to be maybe 19 at most, the way she was behaving (and even talking). I give it 2.5 stars.

Cody owns the restaurant where Jenn works and she has been in love with him since he hired her. She tries to get him to notice her and when she does he spanks her for lying and now she is not so sure. Really fun and great characters. I really like Dara Ames' stories.

I found this to be a very fun little Valentine's Day story! I always wish they could be longer, but this was a very sweet, fun little story with spanking. Always a good formula for me!

I like the concept of the story but the writing was terrible, needed better editing and it was just too predictable for me. The dialog was painful to read it was so corny and I wasn't even able to get half way through the book.

Short story enjoyable to read although the plot is not particularly original and the conclusion is a little bit obvious.
