Overview
Zora Matthews has been through a lot. Kidnapped by the military, forced to fight terrorists and now abandoned by the firm handed CO she'd come to love, Tex's Revenge (Book Two of Military Discipline series) finds our inimitable heroine drunk and all but destitute in the little town of Iron Horse, where she figures she'll eventually die of boredom.
If she weren't quite so busy drowning her sorrows, she might have realized that all is not as quiet as it seems. There are still plenty of dangerous people looking for her - on both sides of the law. When a handsome stranger shows up in town asking all sorts of questions, Zora is immediately on the defensive. Unfortunately it's a fairly sloppy defensive and before long she is once again in the clutches of an overbearingly dominant man who wants something from her. Caught by Tex and pursued by Savage, it isn't long before Zora doesn't know which way is up. As events play out, she finds herself in more hot-bottomed trouble as she tries to save the man she loves in a world where lies are as common as desert dust and everybody has an agenda.
This action-packed spanking romance has a little bit of everything, intrigue, drama, suspense and more than one well-deserved bottom warming.

Ms. Renard does it again, writing an intriguing story with exceptionally strong characters. Characters that invoke strong emotions from her readers.

Zora is back. She is still stuck in the back of no where and waiting for Savage. She isn't doing to well either. Then Tex shows up and seems like he is a friend. But everything starts to fall apart and it is hard to tell who can be trusted. Very dark and somewhat unsettling yet it draws you in.

I thoroughly enjoyed this edition of the fighting duo. Renard stayed true to her characters. Zora is still the impossible, uncontrollable, unpredictable minx and Savage is her only match. I am glad Anja is still fighting and I would love to learn more about Johnny.

I didn't enjoy this book as much as the first one . He dumped her in the middle of nowhere and all we got was a boring description of her getting drunk and then being picked up by a bad guy for a good part of the book. Talk about yawning I found myself skipping ..just to get to the end. When the hero finally turns up ,oh no , all he can do is....nothing . Where is the alpha guy from the first book? This is a man who put himself on the line for her in book one he is nowhere in sight with book two. The humor is gone and after reading page on page of her getting spanked for just trying to get away ...take for instance the store that she hides in , sort of, most of us would have been of and running but this one sits there and wimps out . Remember this is a lady who is really brainy in book one and takes on the bad guys and wins and now there is nothing, no sign of her.
Sorry Loki was not a happy person reading this book I expected more .

I liked this story but I was also a little disappointed in this book. I wanted more about Zora and Savage. It felt like Zora and Savage's relationship was such a small part of the overall story.

I thought this book was going to delve more into the romance and spankings. All it contained was page after page of descriptions. Meh! Too boring! I found myself skipping through the last hundred pages just to get to the end.

Zara and Savage have been apart for months and she has about given up hope of him ever returning. Tex comes to Iron Horse and kidnaps her for her own protection at Savage's request. He pretends to be a friend until Zara figures it out. Lot's of discipline. Good story and good second book of the series. Hopefully there will be more.

Loved this sequel to Savages Recruit! This was just a continuation of the story, with many twists and turns. I loved every bit of it and could not figure out how it was going to end!! Great job, and keep them coming!

I liked this story. It was fast paced, with lots of great action. There were just a few parts that I did not really understand. But overall I still really enjoyed it

This is a great sequel in a wonderful set of books with some truly strong characters both male and female alike. Lots of action and a wonderful ending that really wraps things up.

Awesome sequel to the first story with a great female lead who knows how to take care of herself and a great dominate alpha lead who knows just how to get her to listen to reason.

Well, I was really waiting for this one, and I was scared I was going to be disappointed. But no, I loved it! I really like that for once the heroine is not a stupid, helpless woman who needs to be taken in charge. I love Zora! You can't put the book down, you read it and you go through all her emotions, including laughing a lot! This book really ends here, no need for a sequel ... oh but how I wish there'll be one!

I so love a story with some length and a detailed plot and this one delivers! I love Zora, she made me laugh in part one and part two, and Savage is just a true dominate, alpha male. I sincerely hope there will be another in the series! Great read!!
