Overview

The last thing Ben Tate was expecting to find deep in the Tennessee woods in the middle of winter was a beautiful young woman trying to plant seeds in the frozen ground. When he discovers that she is feverish and delusional, Ben takes her to the home he shares with the rest of the Tate family.

Excellent, it seams that I always like a Chula Stone book and I always want more of the story with the same characters. This story is no exception. One of the few writers whose secondary characters are just as interesting as the primary. The stories are always new, refreshing, interesting, and romantic.

Ben finds Maggie on her family's land delirious from fever. He takes her home to his mother to recover while he continues to search for her uncle. Ben falls in love but stubborn Maggie won't do as she is told. I liked Ben and Maggie and thier story. Wouldn't mind hearing more from Ben's many brothers.

A Bride for Ben by Chula Stone shows how hard life could be on the frontier when this country was just getting settled. Maggie shows grit and determination as she tries to hold onto a piece of land for her younger brother even though she's sick. Of course Ben has to step in and make things right---even if that means a good spanking!

Sweet story. I thought it could have used a lot more romance and sex. It was alright. Nothing I would re -read. I thought the plot could have been developed more. Ben almost came off as a mama's boy until the very end.

This is a sweet stroy but would have been better if it was a little longer but overall it was very good with great characters.

This was a potentially good story but I really feel it could have been a lot better with some more character development. I needed more background to feel connected to the characters and the storyline.
