Overview
Faith had fallen in love with Adam, the oldest of the Braddock brothers, the gruffest, and the saddest. But his continued rejection has finally made her give up on him.
She is moving on with her life. She is taking over management of the mercantile, unfortunately next door to Adam's barbershop. And she is going to live over the store, also an annoying problem for him. Does she care? No. He had his chance with her.
Next she is planning to send out a flyer for a mail-order groom. Adam thought his previous marriage had been miserable, but Faith is driving him crazy. He doesn't want to ever get married again. Yet his attraction to the beautiful, stubborn redhead tests his decision almost as much as the woman does. She has no business moving out on her own, or running a store alone. He doesn't want to be responsible for watching over her, but he can't help it.
What she needs is a good, solid man to marry her and give her babies, and take her in hand.
He might finally burn her bottom for all of this nonsense, but no way is he going to marry her. So maybe he will find her a suitable husband and stop her from sending out that ridiculous flyer.

Adam doesn't want to fall in love. It was hard enough to lose a wife you don't love let alone letting herself care. Faith loves him but is tired of being rejected. They both decide to leave, then they both decide to return. Finally, they have a chance for love.

I love this series and can't wait for the other books. I enjoy the interaction between the bothers but would have like to see more development between Adam and Faith.

Faith has been chasing Adam for a long time. She is so in love with him she can't stand it but he has been widowed and so hurt in the past he won't allow himself to love again. In this fun but sometimes sad story will they find love through their trials? Great characters all the same from the first book in this series.

I liked the first book in this series better than this one, though it's a good spanking western romance. I also found myself getting frustrated with the couple's stubbornness. Faith's father also spanks her, and those seemed a bit severe to me, but it's clear she loves and respects her father. I'm hoping there will be more in this series. It's an interesting town and family.

Wonderful sequel to the Braddock series. It's Adam's turn to get bitten by the love bug but his past keeps getting in the way. Luckily, Faith is strong enough for both of them and manages to.last through his stubbornness, her family's misgivings and Adam's spankings. A good story. I'm looking forward yo the next story.

The second story in the Braddocks series involved Adam and Faith. I enjoyed reading this story, and meeting up once again with the characters of Dry Fork. But I must admit to being a bit disappointed. I wanted to shake both Adam and Faith several times! He hurt Faith over and over again, yet she kept going back to him. I would have liked to have seen him work harder in the end to get her back - to at least have apologized and groveled a bit for showing interest in another woman. I also agree with another reviewer - I would have enjoyed the story more if Adam had given some of the spankings, instead of Faith's father. Especially in a 'romance' story.

I really loved Daniel and was looking forward to Adam I wish there had been more confrontation between Adam and faith and that he had delivered the spankings but hopefully we'll see more of these characters in the future.
