This is a sweet and fluently story. The plot is a little bit unrealistic but very well written, I loved all characters.

Alex is a widow with two sons who has had a hard time living with reality since her husband died. She is lacking self discipline and motivation to get her life in order. Jay is the next door neighbor that provides the guidance that Alex needs. This is a great story and you will definitely enjoy it.

This is a great story. Alex is lost her husband and has been raising her two boys by herself. She has been letting things slip because it had been so hard to cope. But when the new neighbor finds the boys swimming in his pool some changes are in order. I love how Jay let's Alex know what he's all about from the very beginning. The wonderful forming of a family.

Alex gets the help she needs to get out of her depression funk from the death of her husband 3 years before. A new neighbor moves in and a relationship develops, as he finds himself drawn in to Alex, and concerned for her and her 2 young boys who are not being safely supervised.

This was a sweet, if slightly unbelievable story about Alex, a widower with two young boys and her next door neighbor, Jay. Jay is a spanking mystery writer who has strong opinions about the lack of structure Alex has in her life, both for herself and her two sons. The story is sweet and romantic, but unrealistic. Well written and entertaining.

Nice story about a single mother raising two children, and her neighbor who writes spanking novels. If there was anyone who needed help it would be Alex. She does let her children do things most mothers would not, including myself.

Sometimes I think if I lost my husband I might go through a small phase of this. I liked how she learned to grow back to be the mom she could be with his direction love and correction. Cant wait for next book

This was a sweet, romantic story that I truly enjoyed reading. Alex surely needed some discipline in her life and Jay was just the right man for that!! Loved the characters and those kids made me smile.

Romantic spanking story about a widow with 2 young children who has let her life drift for too long. Her new neighbor steps in and provides her with the guidance and discipline that she's been missing. Some funny, cute moments in this story. Good character development and although it was somewhat predictable, it was a very enjoyable read.

A wonderful romantic story. Alex is a widow with 2 energetic young boys. Mother and children are in desperate need of a little structure and discipline. Jay moves in next door and the love sparks start flying. Jay and Alex are immediately smitten with each other. Jay provides the structure and discipline that Alex needs. A great story with great character development.

Wonderful romantic story. You can feel the chemistry between Jay and Alex. I roared with laughter reading the part where she wore her 'spanks' underwear. Very true to life. I also loved that Jay accepted her boys. Great story.

I absolutely LOVED this one! A great romance. Long enough to have very well thought out characters and plot. Exciting storyline that kept me quickly turning the pages. And some very hot, fun spankings! Sweet, sexy and lots of fun!!

This is the second book I have read from this author and although I liked the last one her writing style has improved greatly and I really enjoyed this story. The characters seemed very real and the fact that the man wrote spanking fiction was fun!! Alex really needed someone to help her get her act together and Jay was the perfect man to do that - strong and tough when he needed to be but also understanding about what she had been through. I would have liked a little more variety with implements given the situations but that really was only a side issue and the story was still very much worth reading! Looking forward to the next book from this author

Really awesome story that is heartfelt and truly a feel good story. It shows how one can let their life get away from them and how sometimes it takes someone strong enough to take the lead and set some rules out and who isn't afraid to enforce them when needed.

A wonderful story full of heart. A young widow out of control with two young sons learns to lean on her neighbor as he retrains her to be in control of her life. It is sweet how they quickly become a family -- first in action then in name.

Wonderful stroy about a woman who has let life get her down and this has made everything suffer includign her kids. Her new nieghbor decides to lay down some rules and though it takes her awhile to come around she does realize this is exactly what she needs even if it isn't what she really wnats.

Although the interaction between character was good. I, as a mother, had a hard time with the way Alex raised her children. I struggled through the book simply for that reason.

Alex lost her husband 3 years ago and since then she's been pretty lax on a lot of things. She spends her days playing Farmville on Facebook not caring about the state of her house and letting her two young boys roam free including climbing the fence to swim in the pool next door of the house that has been for sale. Jay is an romantic spanking author who buys the house and when he wakes up his first morning there he finds two boys unsupervised swimming in his pool. When he takes them to there mother he isnt happy about what he sees. He realizes what she needs is a firm hand both figuratively and literally. This was a easing going read of two people getting to know each other and Alex finally coming to admit she does need discipline in life but that doesn't mean she conforms right away. There was one scene where she is suppose to be following Jay's daily list of what house chores she needs to do and the excuses she comes up with as she is going down them - - why clean up the living room when its only going to get messy when the kids get home - - why vacuum when I haven't done the laundry and lint will get on the floor (these excuses sounded familiar to me :)

This to me was such a 'feel good' story and I loved it! Great chemistry with Jay and Alex as well. Great read!
