This story was very well written, and I liked that the author expressed the points of view of both the hero and heroine, yet it wasn't predictable. I enjoyed the rare chance to root for the prostitute, it was not conventional, but really brings home the point that we are all just human.

I really enjoyed this book. Renee Rose is a great story teller and I really got lost in this book. I loved how the relationship grew within the story and it had wonderful spanking scenes!

There were times when I was reading this book that I could actually smell the smoldering campfire smoke. No easy conveniences written into the story to make it more appealing to the reader, not for Renee Rose! Realism that made the story that much more compelling. Loved it. Terrific read. Great plot with believable characters. Could actually be RR's best.

A titillating love story with an unusual heroine. The characters were engaging and the spankings were hot! I loved the fact that the love he felt for her was so strong that he was content with letting her be in charge and come to grips with her love for him and her place in their relationship.

This book was great! Danewyn's character grew and Ferrrum was an Alpha male who got in touch with his feelings. Nice romance and historical blendings.

This was a hot story that had you stressed at some points and cheering for the Knight at others. It was exciting and sweet. I loved that Ferrum set out to reform Dani and insist she be the lady he saw her as.

Great medieval story with real strong characters that know what they want and are willign to do whatever they have to to get it. The plot was wonderful and the spanking scenes were HOT! Great Job!

I love stories set in the medieval time period. This one did not disappoint. I love a good heroine who knows her mind and fights for herself and those she loves. All aspects of the story were very well developed and captivated me. Lots of delicious spankings and HOT sex scenes! Yum, Yum, Yum!

I enjoyed this story. The characters of Danewyn and Ferrum are well developed and very likeable. I did find it hard to not look down on Danewyn as she is a tavern whore, but a very lovable tavern whore. Though I enjoyed this story and all it had to offer, I found it didn't offer anything new but fell into the “same old spanking” story line.

Another great book by Renee Rose with wonderful characters and an interesting plot with plenty of romance, action and plenty of spanking. Hopefully we will see more of these characters in a sequel because the end did leave it open for more.

I liked this book a lot, I think maybe my favorite by Renee so far. I thought the fact that Dani was a tavern whore was a nice change from the usual books in the genre. Added a little something more to the story. I also really liked that Ferrum was scarred and not the Prince. KInd of like two secondary characters rose to main character level. And they were great main characters. Nice job.

This is a well written story. Danewyn and Ferrum are well developed characters and the story is well defined. I was into it from the first page. Ferrum's over sensitivity to his appearance and being unworthy of love, Danlwyn's detached emotions of whoring and the Red Fox's determination to become king become an interesting story. My only complaint is that I wanted more of a resolution. I know Dani and Ferrum got together, but I wanted to see how they stayed together for a bit. I read through the angst, I wanted to read through the good times as well. More please?

I enjoyed this story. It was well written and very believable. I just wished for another chapter to wrap it all up a bit more. The ending felt a bit abrupt.

Another amazing story by Renee Rose. Five stars hands down for the plot, interaction, and originality.
This was a very busy tale with lots of things going on in the plot and subplot though I could not connect with Sir Ferrum. I did not like the way he treated Dani, some of the spankings seemed not to fit the crime. Our lovely former prostitute is so tough on the outside and can detach for her job so it seemed that he really needed to lay into her to punish. I know that he was hard on himself due to his scars and being a very large man but I thought he could be more tender.
Must say though, the role reversal was extremely hot in all the ways that it implies. I felt like I was reading a form of light BDSM before the term was invented due to the power play that occurred. Their intimate scenes were also so hot! Very very hot especially with her reactions. Mainly because the reactions were from someone who has made intercourse her day job so it really shows how little pleasure she has received in her life!
I also really enjoyed the other characters sprinkled throughout. Each one had an important role and were not just there for fodder.
I did find it hard to really focus on Dani due to the cover image. It may just be me, but she was described as a Saxon with long, light blond hair in detail so much so that I felt the cover photo gave you an image that you couldn't help but keep in mind while reading. Very lovely cover, the hair could have been lightened and done wonders to keep her true to the way she was painted.
Renee scores again with this erotic historical read. Just can not get enough of this awesome author! Waiting with baited breath for the next title.

This story was fantastic! I appreciated the length and the depth of the plot. Wonderful characters that I would love to see again in a sequel! Once I started reading I could not put it down, I just had to see what was going to happen next. Great read and one I will definitely read again!!

Excellent book with a great plot full of action, romance and of course spanking. The characters were really well developed and truly sucked you into the story making you wnat to find out how it was going to end.

This was amazingly well written. I loved both of the main charaters. I felt like it was a book about a whore/seer and the Knight who loved her. Although it has spanking and hot sex thats not the focus, It just happens to be a great bonus. Renee Rose is a great writter and I truly loved this book.
