Laurel Joseph A Thanksgiving Holiday

Laney's plans for a peaceful Thanksgiving with her Granddad are ruined when the stage in which she is riding is attacked by Comanche and she is taken captive. Laney is determined to fight her captor, but White Eagle easily subdues her by taking her over his knee and setting her backside on fire when she displeases him. Laney promises the big man that her Granddad will come for her, but is shocked when White Eagle turns mean and hateful when she mentions her Granddad's name.

Harvey Coddington is worried sick when he learns his little Laney is with the Comanche and he sends his foreman, Seth Sawyer to go after the feisty little redhead. Seth was raised by the Comanche and if any man could rescue her, it would be Seth.

White Eagle is determined to use Laney to punish her Granddad and Seth knows he is going to have a fight on his hands… One with White Eagle, and another with the little brat who had more spirit than common sense!

Since Laney is unhappy in the city she decides to visit her grandfather in Texasbut before she gets to him she is stolen off the stagecoach by White Eagle and spanked severely by him. When her grandfather finds out what happened he sends Seth to save her since he is part Comanche. He definitly has his hands full but in the end he does get the girl and a HEA.

I liked this story, they guys were a little harsh but it went with the story since they were raised as Indians, I thought it was weird how the indian brother came to thanksgiving dinner so easily after wanting to torture her to death. also it was really short, but over all I enjoyed it

A reader:

This book smoothly integrates the romance and spanking into this plot full of adventure. The plot was unexpected, but nonetheless very enjoyable. I was sad to finish least until I found out that there was a sequel (A Christmas Holiday). I would highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a light-hearted and holiday themed book which is why I rated this book a 5 out of 5.
